Athletes and entertainers are not made to be leaders of more than their respective teams or businesses. Let's be honest. And black people need some form of ACTUAL LEADERSHIP. Looking to sports or music to find the best result to what we've been going thru for 400+ years is a fools errand. Very two faced. One day "I'm the best" but when they fuck up "I'm no better than anybody else". Not saying don't have confidence, but don't boast like your time won't end or you can do no wrong.

Another thing. Why do black people want justice to be served when they aren't on the receiving end? If we want white people and other groups to be held accountable, at what point are we exempt? Can't play the victim role forever.

Also, we as black people need to quit holding athletes and entertainers at the highest peak of blackness. Money and notoriety, STATUS, these things do not make one happy off the rip. Nothing worth having is an overnight fix or going to come from being praised by others. All (well 90%) of our issues are INTERNAL and not making the time to handle our issues is what drives us to the point of being burnt out, anxious, depressed, addicted, et cetera. WE really need to get back into the real world, turn off t.v.'s and phones and come together as a UNIT of people.
