Zip Zoom. Bees are here and then they're gone. Buzzing about, landing on different plants and flowers, looking for something to pollenate. This collection hones in on the idea of " what could it be like to fly from flower to flower as a bee does?" In my last semester of technical college, I had ZERO IDEA what I wanted to do for a final project yet I knew that I needed to do something that represented where I was emotionally and artistically at the time. When I'm out, if I don't have an exact plan for what I want to shoot, I'll just work on my craft with whatever I find interesting. I'll also play around with all of the settings ( I only shoot on manual) to see what different things look like. While the trees were blooming across the city of Atlanta, flower buds were in different phases and bees were OUTSIDE IN DROVES. In order to get some of the shots below, I used the on-camera flash and lowered my aperture to anywhere from F11 to F18. SO MUCH FUN, you guys. Almost too much. Enjoy!
